Looking into an interface and trying to find one with drivers that are either designed for or are known to work with Vista 64. I'd prefer an interface with USB instead of firewire but that is only because my laptop's firewire chipset is not TI (its RICOH) and i've heard of many issues using firewire with non-TI chipsets.

So far here's whats on my list:
- MOTU Ultralite MK3
- Digidesign MBox 2
- Lexicon Omega
- Presonus Firestudio

Still undecided on what software but i'm leaning towards starting out with Reaper if i dont get the MBox which in that case i'll use protools... whatever the case i just want to start recording riffs and songs so i dont forget them and as i get the hang of things start going a little deeper. I'll be recording with both the Axe-fx and The Roadster mic'd so i need a interafce with at least 4 inputs.
