Let me know if i'm missing something I need here. This is "my plan"

I have Drumkit from hell and ez drummer... Im using nuendo right now and playing around with the grid to get the drums going. SM57 from Line 6 Toneport incase i want to use my amp.. or i have the modeling option...

Monitors... Not sure which I want to buy here.

Im totally new to it so any tutorials would be great. Am i missing anything id need to purchase to start recording?

well, a million people can give you a million answers to your questions...
but at the very least, get the very best monitors you can afford....
because the final link in you mixing, is what you hear.
and if you cannot trust what you hear, you cannot mix a great mix.

at every step of the recording chain, there is always room for improving gear.....

your nuendo tutorials should have everything you need, as far as midi and getting tracks in.

there's a million sources on the net, for everything from how to EQ, to plugins, to how to treat playback rooms for sound treatment.....

just pick a topic, do your google-thingy, and roll!

Also check www.tweakheadz.com , that website and its forums got me where I am today in just 2 years.
