I just recently upgraded to it last week, very clean looking. The file size of the installer is much larger than previous versions, somewhere around 5.5GB i believe. Other than aesthetics and a few new features its pretty much the same as 7.4.2. or so ive found so far anyways.

No, unfortunately I haven't. I plan on it soon tho, i'll let you know what its like after I try it out. I've heard good things about it aswell
 
I have 7, but I do know that there is a midi editor window which is pretty sweet. Pretty much exactly like Logic Pro 8, they even have quick comp swiping too. Has a bunch of new software instruments too.

Really the only thing that interests me is the midi editor because I use that A LOT in logic.
