When I first got my Digi 002 I was able to run my iTunes playlist through the 002 and out to my monitors. It was pretty cool. Then I did an iTunes update and all of a sudden it didn't work anymore. Is there still a way to do this or did the update mess it up completely?

I would also love to know how to fix this but I am pessimistic..

I have never been able to run itunes from my digi 002 to my monitors without the sound being unbearably choppy. I use a switch to run from my Soundblaster card into my KRK's when using itunes. Thankfully my KRK's have dual sets of inputs (Digi002 to the TRS inputs and SB to the RCA's). Of course we don't want to run both simultaneously or there will be smoke and fire (from me when they explode)!

When I noticed this I contacted Digi-Euro Tech Support who stated at that time: "Unfortunately, iTunes 7 (QT 7) is not compatible with the DigidesignWave Driver and will cause the "choppy" audio problems"...

Does anyone know if the digi 002 rack is compatible with the new Protools v.8 software? I am unable to find any information on this at all... I have version 7.3.1.cs6 at the moment.

I also found an interesting site for some guys that 'hotrod' digidesign's hardware if anyone is interested or already has some experience with them and wishes to comment:

If you follow the link below it tells you how to get around this problem (for Mac users) by reinstalling older versions of QuickTime...

I have also now seen that Protools v.8 will work fine with the Digi 002.
