It's a dumb song :], but the drum sound is so clean. I can tell he's using a good amount of sm57s, but I'm not familiar with the stubby mics on his toms. In other videos I see a condenser overhead and what looks like a 57 overhead that's parallel with the ground rather than facing the drum set. Is phase cancellation a problem here or does that assist in the clarity?

Post anything you know. Drum sound even similar would be a huge asset to many of us.
