found this mic manufacturer some weeks ago and bought the tube condensor syt 3000 based on a 6j1 tube. they also build others on 12ax7 tubes.
the mic i own is incredible warm with sizzling hights. by a sound pressure level at 148db really not bad. for a price at 150 us$ solid brass construction and freakn heavy with good material inside. coming in allloy box with cable and external power supply, but make yourself a picture.
and I bet when you here the other prices ... i will order some 12ax7 based mic soon - put my akg's in the box again.
anyway, if you are at the show have a look at this booth and ask for jenny ;-)
