Hi everyone,

I recently broke the plastic push pull knob of the main output on my old MK IV B combo. I ordered a new replacement pot to solder in, but before I jump in I’ve been reading up on draining filter caps as much as I can.My question is: Does the MK IV and other Mesas have a bleeder resistor for the caps? I’m still going to take all the safety precautions to drain the caps but I was wondering about this. I’ve seen a couple of people say yes but I haven’t seen a definitive answer. Thanks!

Don't use both hands when reaching into your amp! (If you don't know what you're doing and there's a chance of killing yourself, think twice!)
