I don't know if it's been covered already, but....

I wish the Mark V was capable of the 6L6/EL34 blend of earlier Marks.

Additionally, it'd be cool if it included the switching logic to choose between either pair on a per channel basis, thus allowing options like;

6L6s cleans.

EL34 crunch.

6L6/EL34 lead.

I'd be more than happy to give up 10w mode for this.
Ignore the hype and trust your ears. Play more, buy less = better tone.

Regroup the modes on the Mk V so they actually make sense, unlike the current model.

The biggest reason I got rid of mine was that the modes weren't where they need to be... grouped by function, as opposed to amount-of-gain, which is how they're grouped now.

Basically, Tweed and Mk I belong on Channel 3, as they're best used for lead!

Really, all I want is a very quiet one channel amp. A half power Electra-dyne would be ideal. I love the odd ball Mesas.

Current amps are Ace w 4x12 traditional, Blue Angel 2x10, Heartbreaker head w 2x12 matching cab, TA-15 w 1x12 cab.

A new version of the Stiletto, with four channels, like a Roadster but only british sounds:

Channel One: Thick, Normal, Thicker (From the LoneStar, british voiced)
Channel Two: Clean, Tite Clean, Crunch
Channel Three: Crunch, Tite Gain, Fluid Drive
Channel Four: Crunch, Tite Gain, Fluid Drive

Multiwatt Switching (50,100 w) and Duo Class (Class A, single ended 10 w). Only EL34 power.

What do you think? I love my Stiletto Deuce Stage II head :D
Amps:

Dual Rectifier Roadster 2x12 Combo
Roadster 2x12 Cab

Guitars:
Gibson SG 50th Anniversary Std 24
Fender American Standard Stratocaster

Washburn Maverick BT6

One thing that would be cool, if Mesa Boogie made a pedal that emulates the Mark V with all the modes and channels.
Mesa Boogie Mark V 25, Kemper Amp.

Been checking the site a lot lately...would be cool to see a new design. I'd love to see a new high-gainer with midi functionality. A RK or Roadster recto type amp with midi control over channels and functions would be great. Or maybe a EDII or Stiletto with the above functionality.

Or maybe just an entirely new voice for Mesa. Something KT77 powered perhaps

I would like to see the Mark V:25 with Solo control and the contour controls for graphic EQ (all basically from Express 5:25 +) and then remove extreme and add tweed (or maybe something from lonestar or vintage from rectoverb 25). Maybe move the tweed into clean and crunch into the drive channel. And have it available as a combo.

Actually just as is in Combo would be cool too.
Current: Mesa Mark V:25, TA 30 1x12, Tubemeister 18 1x10
Past Boogies: Studio .22, Maverick 1x12, Express 1x10
Future: Super compact (size and weight of V:25) version of Maverick merged with Lonestar (hint hint)

It's not exact, but perhaps the JP2C is this?

It's kinda funny looking through this 6-years-old thread and seeing that some of these ideas have surfaced in actual products! Still ache for a Triaxis II, though. Don't get me wrong: I love my Tri/2:90 and have a use for every mode (except LD1 red). It's just that the user-facing part of it has come on so much since it was released.

I'm with you on this one. The control of a Triaxis with the tone of a Road King, I'm in.

Yeah right on!
Btw: I had a dream...

Would be cool if it came true. A great idea I think! 8)

Two channel head.
With classic clean tone from the Quad Rythm 1 ch, (sounds almost like a piano). And of course the IIC+ lead channel.

You couldn't have imagined that the JP-2C is what we'd actually get.
