Hi Fellow Boogie Enthusiasts-

I have a Mark V head, and recently I blew a fuse. Thus, I replaced the fuse and a pair of my power tubes (it was obvious which one had blown) with a matched pair of 6L6's.

My dumb question is, if I didn't capture which pair I replaced, is there any way to determine the new pair from the old? Should I just wait until another tube goes?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I thought I should ask before blindly replacing tubes.

Thanks.

sometimes when a power tube goes it will take a resistor or two with it. sometimes not. if a rectifier tube goes,,the fuse will blow but usually no resistors go. if you replaced a power tube and the amp works fine, you probably don't have a problem. Mesa's are pretty tough amps...
