Does anyone know the per tube wattage capacity of the Mesa 5881 STR-425 tube? Is it 25 watts like the 'typical' 6L6 or does it handle 30 watts per tube like the 6L6 'GC' variant?

Mesa's description of the 5881 makes reference to 'higher wattage capability' but the online consensus is that a 5881 tube is a 'lower' wattage variant of the 6L6(?)

Need to re-tube a new-to-me Ecstasy 101A which runs 6L6 'GC' tubes and everything I can find online cautions against running a non 'GC' designated 6L6 in an amp set up for 'GC' variant tubes. I don't really care about the alphabetic code, just want to make sure I'm starting out with 30 watt 6L6s as opposed to 25 watters.

Thank You!
