I bought a pair of Sylvania STR415's for my IIC+ from a reputable tube seller. They said that the tubes should drop right into the amp with no issue. The rating for current draw is 48ma. I am not sure and have inquired at what plate voltage they were tested at, though another member of this forum that I spoke with said that they test them at the appropriate plate voltage. Is this too high for a simul-class IIC+? or will i need to get a pair of EL34's that are lower than 30ma to balance them out? Will I be ok?
Thanks,
Scott
