Hi, new to the forum.
I have a 525 plus that I love.
I'm a bit of a tone freak ( I suspect that's why we're all here) :)
I'm a seasoned player.I play a vintage strat with Texas specials.
I like to play in the crunch mode with gain at 2oclock.
Sweet break up, chimey, delicate, rich harmonics, crazy natural sustain, beautiful.
I left the amp on overnight in standby.
Seems like the rich chimey tone I love is gone.
I'm aware of all the factors, humidity, temperature, psychology, etc.
I've been trying for days to get my beloved tone back.
Changed strings, tweeked the guitar, no luck.
Am I crazy or could that one night in standby have altered the tubes.
I've ordered a replacement set of el84s . I'll try swapping em as soon as they arrive
Help a tone freak out. :)

Also wondering...
Can insufficient or dirty power cause subtle changes in performance?
