I need to replace a bad tube in my Stiletto Tridant head. Attached is the question: I need to replace the pair.....based on top view of head....

#1-#2 #3-#4 #5-#6. #3 is the bad tube. Do I replace #3 and #4 ?

Not if #3 & #4 are matched tubes and your replacement tube is the same as #3. What kind of tubes are you using and what are they rated? (Mesa yellows, GT #4, Tube Depot #32, etc.)

Last night I swapped out the #3 bad tube to the #4 socket and the #4 to #3 socket, the #3 tube failed to light in the #4 position as well so I'm fairly certain it's the tube.

Any help on which positions (matched pair) to replace (#3 obviously) would be greatly appreciated.
