Mesa F50 Tube Upgrades

Hey,

Looking to upgrade the tubes on my Mesa F50 which are all stock since I purchased the amp. Interested to hear what other F50 or Mesa Boogie users have upgraded their tubes to and how the tone compares to the stock tube?

I'm looking for a high gain tone, that's smooth, got clarity and punch.

I was looking at purchasing all JJ tubes for both the preamp and power section. Please could anyone who has done this post their opinions of how this sounds in the F50? I heard all JJ's can sound a bit muddy?

Was also thinking of alternatively buying a Tung Sol for V1 and maybe V2. Any opinions of people using Tung Sol's would also be much appreciated!

I know this is an old post. Must not be to many F50 guys and gals out there. I haven't had my F50 long, but I would stick with Mesa Stock Tubes, Why mess with perfection.
