Forgot to switch the bias!

So just retubed, and forgot to switch the bias, quickly shut it of, I think it was still in standby... did i do any harm?
 
If you were in Stand By it's fine. The tubes only see heater voltage when in standby. Like 12 volts.
 
As bendo pointed out, if the amp was in standby, no high voltage was applied to the tubes, so the tubes never saw any Plate current and they don't know where the bias switch was. Only the normal 6.3 volts was applied to the tubes' heaters, which is always the same voltage regardless of the bias switch. You should have no problems. 8)
