New LSS - Microphonic Tube

Has anyone tried to get preamp tubes replaced under Mesa's warranty?

I have a new LSS that I fired up for the first time today. One of the tubes, I assume V1, is microphonic -- makes a static noise with each guitar note. I have several potential replacements -- 12AX7LPS, 12AX7WA and a couple of 60's Tungsols and used RCAs, but I figure Mesa owes me preamp tubes that work for more than an hour.

What's the deal with Mesa's tube warranty?

I think I will try bugging the GC where I bought the amp first, but I suspect they will tell me the same thing.
