Are rectifier tubes supposed to glow like the power tubes do

I just got this amp like a week ago


all four of my power tubes light up nicely, but the two rectifier tubes don't (reglardless of whether or not I am using the vacuum or diode tube option)

the amp sounds good, but the fact that the tubes don't light up make me worry/wonder

thanks guys
