help me with the tubes pls..

Recently i bought a mesa rackmountable dual rectifier, it has Mesa STR 420 tubes in it. I want to replace them with newer tubes but there are so many choices that i am confused.

I read reviews about 6L6GC Svetlana tubes, most people say they are very good, but I don't know how will they sound in my rectifier.

Do you think I should buy original Mesa STR 454 tubes instead?
Will there be so much difference between those 2 tubes?

Do you have any other suggestions?

But! I was one of those people who were disappointed with the JJ stuff...the main reason was that they attenuated the high end in an exaggerrated manner! I had to compensate by increasing the treble and presence on my amp and in the end, found that I was better off with the stock Boogie glass.

But that's just me...I would go with one of Mesa's 6L6 variants first.
