Do you notice much difference in tone between channel one and two?
yeah sometimes the 1st channel is more raw or aggressive, while the 2nd one might be more gainy. What about u?

The only difference that I can really here in the videos is that channel 1 had a sharp mid range bite and channel 2 had more low end and maybe less mid bite. Does that seem right?

To tell you the truth, I am really bad at expressing tone differences! Once again, I cannot stress enough what a big difference tubes in v1 and v3 can make! All in all, I would say that the 1st channel sounds more vicious or metal to my ears. I don't think that the above clips do justice because most of the times I do heavy use of the parametric eq.
