I have been trying to find a tone on my Mark V that is somewhere in between/close to Zach Meyers (from Shinedown) and Jerry Cantrell (from Alice in Chains). I am looking for a full sounding, high gain sound with a nice punch.

Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

If you are running a C90, this could be difficult. V30 gives the edgier tones.

Try running the MarkIIC+ mode at 45W (play with the normal/bright switch). Bring your EQ sliders up all the way and drop down your 2200hz down about 2/3. Crank the Channel 3 master to around 3 or 4 'o clock and start bringing up the gain until it gets to the heaviness you are looking for.
