I posted this on the ESP Forum I'm also in and want to share it with you guys...or vice-versa!!

Alright here is my sad attempt at dialing in good tone, playing some riffs, recording myself and posting it on this site so you savages can rip me a new one!!(this doesn't apply to Grailtone) :D

Here is my new rig...

Yes folks, that guy(Maynard) is a trooper!! He's the only one who bears to be in the same room w/ me as I play. And yes, that's his bed, my wife gave him our $500 futon. What can you do?? Look at him!!

...and finally here is the clip...The one song I kind of know the majority of...

I hope it all works out...let me know if there is a problem getting to it.

Thanks for all those who helped make this dream a reality!!

Sweet Rig. Great mic stand! I'm a huge fan of the head/2x12 set up. Even bigger fan of the German Shepherd! Maynard is a good looking guy. My GSD Kaiser is always with me when I play at home. He's as important to my playing as my Mesa!

What gear did you use to record your clip?
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Dylon

Thanks Wilson...Maynard is definitely cool, he's 8 1/2 and been with me since he was 3 months old. After finally getting my first rig, I think my next dog will be named MESA!!

What gear did you use to record your clip?

I used an ESP/LTD KH-602 with 2 EMG 81's...toggle was in the middle position w/ volumes at 7-8 and tone at 6.

The Mic is a RadioShack Uni-Directional Dynamic Microphone #32-1170.

I used a 12ft MonsterCable Rock 500.

I recorded into a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Card with the optional Front Panel Interface. Input Volume Maxed.

I recorded w/ Adobe Audition. I'm gonna use this to mix the drum tracks which I got from http://mysongbook.com/ I like this program, it's pretty straightforward. Not to complex, but with good quality tools.

Finally, I posted the pics with http://photobucket.com/

and the sound clip was with http://www.digitalsoundplanet.com/home.html

That's it. Sweet and simple. I'm gonna work on my timing and then mix in the drum tracks!!

OUT!!
