MkIV's are sweet, but be prepared to loose alot of bottom end when you switch from Rectos to Marks.

They're not my clips, but they were done with a Mesa Recto 4x12.

My settings were:
Lead w/ Graphic EQ, Pentode, Harmonics, Simul-Class, full power
Lead Gain: 8
Treble: 8
Bass: 3
Mid: 10
Lead Drive: 8
Presence: 6
The EQ depending on the sound I was after looked either like this
or like this
For the Rectifier my settings were
Bold, Silicon Diodes, Red channel (2 channel recto) on Modern.
Presence: 3
Bass: 6
Mids: 8
Treble: 8
Gain: 8
I didn't have either amp turned up very loud. Most of these clips were done between 2:00-5:00 am

They're not mark clips, but I found these as well;
Great tones! The mark IV has a great pre amp. The clips sound as if you aren't pushing the power tubes. Try recording it again, and push the master output to get some power tube distortion! I think you will have the classic Mark IV tone, instead of primarily preamp distortion.
