post your mark IV settings

Sup guys,

title says it all, post your mark IV settings!

right now for a nice rhythm tone on the lead channel I use:

simulclass
pentode
full

gain 8
drive 8
trble 8
bass 4
mids 8
pres 4

pots pulled
eq: classic V with a little more high and lows

still working on my clean channel

ur new so u might have missed this but there's already a place for sharing tones. :wink:

Not to be someone to tell you what sounds good to you but according the manual that comes with the Mark IV, having the treble and gain both at 8, the mids and bass control have less affect on the sound so normally, having mids at 8 as well, doesn't have the same impact as it would if the treble were below 5.

In other words, the manual says you "shouldn't" have both your treble and mids (or bass) so high at the same time. The higher the treble, the less the bass and mids controls affect the sound and vice versa.

so should the bass be around 3 and the mids around 4 or so?

and should the drive/gain stay the same?
