Hi Guys greetings from Holland,
I'm a new owner of a D800+ since a couple of weeks and using a Vanderkley 600w 4 ohms cab.
My question, is it possible to switch the mesa to 2 Ohms so I can used my cab safely and
how many power do I get (about 600W ?).

The SUBWAY D-800+ is rated to drive a minimum 2 ohm load (with the impedance selector switch set in the 2 ohm position), meaning either 4 x 8 ohm cabinets or 2 x 4 ohm cabinets.
Switching to 2R with a 4R cab will not gain you extra power.
800 watts rms @ 4 ohms, 10% THD (includes preamp O/D THD)
800 watts rms @ 2 ohms, 10% THD (includes preamp O/D THD)

The maximum output power is 800 Watts.
