My two main gigging cabs are a 2x12 horizontal recto cab with v-30,s and a 2x12 half back vertical also with v-30,s(originally had a **** brand of old celestions that i replaced)The v-30,s sound great in the recto cab but aren't so hot in the half back(not that there crap mind you)Out of sheer greed because i got it cheap i bought another half back 2x12 cab...but OMG this one sounds amazing!!! i opened it up and sure enough it had an EV in the bottom and a Black Shadow up top....no wonder all you guys rave about that combination of speakers in these old cabs it,s my new fave cab! instead of another back up for my recto cab.
