Which extension cab for my rectoverb 50 combo?

I just got a rectoverb combo, love the amp. I try a lonestar widebody ext cab-open back with it, and hated it. The amp seem to lose it's punch. Looking at the recto cabs, i think closed back is gonna be the way to go. Anybody wanna share there exp with the 1/12 or 2/12 model.
I would ideally like just another 1/12 extension cab to set my combo on but the recto 1/12 is too small. Thought about the 2/12. 3 speakers seems like an odd number to run.
