Just thought I'd post a couple of pix of the Thiele cabs I just finished building. Thanks to all those who posted plans, pix, and advice.

I buy leather remnants. I made an industrial strength cookie cutter from a strip of sheet metal that I use to cut out the shape, then finish cutting any uncut portions by hand. Tedious, but effective.

I had 2 original coffee can 8 ohm EV SRO 12's in an old Fender cab that was so heavy it was pretty much a hernia waiting to happen. When I saw the thread about building Thiele cabs, I thought that might be a good alternative. The 2 Thieles are still pretty heavy, but manageable. I'm told the EV's alone weigh 19 pounds each.
