Can I use a TRS coupler to extend a cabinet run?

I have a unique set-up this weekend where I would like to daisy chain a second guitar cabinet to the other side of our small stage area. I have a few high quality 5 foot speaker cables, but nothing longer and I need a run of about 10 feet. Is it safe to use a 1/4" TRS coupler (female to female coupler) linking together two 5' cables for this purpose? I prefer not to buy an extra long extension cable for this one-time use if I don't have to. I am well aware of the hazards of using shielded instrument-type cable for cabinet runs, but am not sure if a TRS coupler introduces similar hazards.

Yes, both my speaker cables will be of identical quality and gauge, and the total impedance of the cabinets (both rated 8 ohms) will not be below the 4ohm rated output from my amplifier head.
