I've owned a 400+ since 2002...no problems with it 'til around Christmas when it started blowing fuses. I changed the tubes (all but the pre-amp tubes-the Mesa tech I talked to on the phone said "changing the pre-amp tubes 12ax7s wouldn't be necessary) and it ran beautifully---'til last weekend. I didn't blow any fuses, but there was a noticable loss of power right in the middle of one of our numbers--I moved the wires on the DI box and I got my power back.---This happened a couple of times--then it was OK the rest of the night.

I am bi-amping a M-2000 through two 2x10 Road Ready 8 Ohm cabs (@ 4 Ohms) and my 400+ through 2 2x15 RR 4 Ohm cabs (@ 2 Ohms).

...Maybe it's the DI box?

...because the M-2000 lost power too----no prior problems with the M-2000.

....Any ideas?
