So, are any of the Mesa rackmount power amps good for bass? I guess I'd always feared that they were designed as guitar power, and as such set up to achieve some sort of power amp distortion. I wouldn't want that for bass power.
Anyone have any idea what kind of clean output they can deliver? Can a dual 90, for example, provide anything close to full volume before distortion sets in?
I'm not interested in anything that resembles metal. I'm into old blues, classic rock and R&B stuff. I rarely use my 5 anymore, and play a Ric 4003 and occasional fretless. Might a Stereo:90 fit the bill?
