Hi, new to the boards.Road king Head, with the Road King Cab.

I just bought a Gmajor, and need to know how to correctly chain it.

This is how its hooked now

Guitar > tuner > Gmajor balanced input > Balanced output to front input of head.

This has to be wrong. This set up only allows me to use channels 3 and 4. No signal of anykind in channels 1 and 2. I tried to go G Major output to loop 1 on the rear, but got no signal on any of the channels.

Thanks for the help

heres what you wanna do:
gtr>tuner>amp input.
loop 1> gmajor>return 1
or loop 2, you decide how you want to run it.
now you can specify which channels get the g major by default
or turn it off and on with the ftsw.
then take a short gtr cable and go pulse latching trigger out>g major external controll in.
then using the road kings ftsw, you should be able to controll tap delays
using the "ext trigger" switch.
try it, let me know how it works :)

Tried this set up, now Im getting a hum in the cab, with little vol

Went Guitar to tuner in. then tuner out to input on the front of the head.

Took loop 1, and ran it to Balanced Inputs Right, Then Balanced output right to Return 1.

sombody suggested another setup on another thread.
go gtr>tuner>amp input.
loop2>gmajor mono in>mono out> return 2 and set all 5 mix knobs
to about 12 oclock. heres the kicker tho: make sure you
activate "dry kill" on the gmajor. this mutes all dry signal so the
output of the gmajor is ONLY effect. then you can blend it back in to the
actual dry signal of the amp. lemme know what happens.

This how NoGlassNoClass suggested I do it.

Send1 -> tuner in
tuner out -> Return1 (optional)
Send2 -> Gmajor mono in
Gmaj mono out -> Return2

The loop2 is confusing, since there IS a input that says Loop2,but when I plug into the one marked Loop2, nothing happens.

I did find the Drykill on the GMajor, even thogh I couldnt find it in the G Majors manual. And I still have zero control of muting the G Major using my RK floor board, and channel 1 is still no where to be found, no matter how much I adust the knobs.Channel 2 got a little better, and 3 of 4 have always worked great.

Im at work, so I cant diddle with it till later.

Never mind on finding the Drykill on the Gmajor. I guess I turned off Kill dry, so when I went to go turn my rig on, the G Major power up, but no signal came thru, until I turned Kill Dry back on.
