Could I use Jamup on my iPad to create a signal I could route to the FX return on my 3 channel DR and onto my Recto 4 x 12 for live use? In other words I would use Jamup on my iPad to act as the preamp and pedalboard. Then the power amp and the 4 x 12 create the live sound.
 
Yes you can! I'd recommend using BIAS to disable speaker modeling. I made a video a while ago explaining the hookup:
