Solo Boost

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere but here it goes.I have a 94 2 Channel Duel.Love,love,love it.I'm just looking for a clear and simple solo boost the really makes a difference.I play thrash metal and my solos just don't cut through live.

Without having it built into the amp, hard to provide an answer on that unless you add a switchable attenuator to the guitar signal (do not think that exists).

You might be able to get away with the Mesa Tone-Burst Clean Boost Pedal. Take a look into that which may give you what you are looking for without adding additional distortion to your amp / tone. Even a EQ pedal will do similar if used to boost certain frequencies to cut through the mix with some enhancements.
