Hello from England.
I hope you chaps can help again as you have done so marvellously in the past on this august forum.
I have invested heavily in 4 TC Electronics Toneprint series pedals which I am going to run through the FX loop of my Mark V.
I intend to go via this route :- Mark V FX Send to TC Vortex Flanger Mono In.
Vortex Mono Out to Corona Chorus Mono In.
Corona Mono Out to Flashback X4 Delay Mono In.
Flashback X4 Mono Out to Hall Of Fame Reverb Mono In.
Hall Of Fame Mono Out back to Mark V FX Return.
Everybody with me ?
Here's my question. The TC Manuals all recommend activating the first and last pedal's buffered by-pass via their handy dip-switch. The Mark V FX loop is series so I can forget the Kill-Dry option.
Now do I go for buffered bypass on all the pedals or just the outer two ?
I had volume issues with the previous MXR Micros in the loop ( Carbon Copy/Micro Flange/Micro Chorus and Boss RV5) and the TCs complement the FX Send at 12 o'clock with a great improvement.
Your experiences and suggestions would be most welcome.
