I've used a BBE 362 in my rack for years. I found a brand new i382 for dirt cheap, so I thought "new is better" and bought it. I was not impressed at all. The high mids were lacking and the lo contour was muddy at best. I am switching back to my older 362. Anyone else have similar issues with the i382? Perhaps it's better for a PA than an individual instrument.

A little late to the party, but I had issues with the 382i as well. Mine has clipping issues with the lo contour knob. Can't get it past 12 o'clock without the light freaking out, and getting that annoying clipping vibration noise.
I can even see it clipping before I turn my amp on, so I k ow it isn't the amp causing it.
