Local VFW Hendrix tribute band. Painfully low volume. Transistor radio quality tone. I received a fair share of "Dude?" from those that know me. He was an outstanding technician and nailed all the leads. All I could say is, "he's great." Poor guy couldn't even get the guitar to feedback and even though there was a vibrato bar on the guitar, it wasn't used, come on it's Hendrix for Christ sake a little bit out of tune is O.K., right? I love my Boogie more than ever. And to think I played a Marshall for like forever. WTF? This guy would have sounded better through a Fender champ. Khrykie that was Painful.

so wait what you are saying is that his 2 marshall full stacks sounded weak, because he had them down way too low.

It sounded like a clock radio! Very brittle and narrow sounding, like a crack-head's voice. Visually irritating.

I was watching a Hendrix video yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoCaFw_0MYY and he adjusted the knobs on his amp all night long. Tweeker man was Jimi. He also plays a 3 pick-up white Gibson SG.
