Sadly, Johnny Winter passed away last night in Zurich, Switzerland. One of my personal guitar gods, he was truly a blues giant. I saw him in the late '70's at a small club in Central Texas...why I continued trying to play after seeing him live is beyond me!!

We'll miss you Johnny...

Man I didn't hear about that until reading it just now. He played a club called the funky biscuit in Boca Raton Fl on November 22, 2013. He was loud as hell and still kicking ***. He was an early influence of mine. To this day some of my chops are reminiscent of his contributions to the music world. I'm going to dig up some of his albums and reminisce
