Hey all...I've been away from the board a bit, but still gigging, still playing with Mesa gear...I will try to make time to get back on...
And now for something completely different....
After almost 46 trips around the Sun, I decided to get inked. A lot of thought went into this. Since 17 years old, I have either been a soldier or law enforcement. St. Michael is the patron saint of both. This tattoo is my way of honoring the far too many brother and sister officers who've been lost, and a display of my Italian Catholic upbringing and thanks to St. Michael.
It was a 10 hour sitting...and yes, I did it all at once. When I go back for touchups, the artist is going to add a light blue sky background and a banner over the top saying "San Michele proteggerci" which is Italian for "St. Michael protect us"
Its a week old in this photo and still peeling a little, but it's healing up nicely.
