Fryette is running a Kickstarter* for a really cool little product. It's a single channel, 1 Watt tube "box" that is primarily geared towards recording, but also can power a cab like a normal head, be used as a preamp, or direct to FOH for live use. It is based on the Deliverance 120 head  , and features the same versatility as its larger brother. The recording features focus on having a interactive cab/mic simulator that improves on the standard recording outs of other heads.

Pricing is $599 once it's in production, but if you pledge to the kickstarter you can get it for $499, as all the $399 offers are accounted for as of now. They need to get to $60k in order to get this into production, so if it seems interesting to you, jump on it. You'll be bettering your chance of actually receiving one, and you'll save over $100 in the process (no shipping for backers in the US, and I believe no tax either)

*In case you're wondering what Kickstarter is and what the risks involved are, there are no real risks. It is essentially a pre-order of the product. You pledge for whatever "perk" you want (they have a couple cheaper/more expensive options), and then if the project reaches its goal you are charged, and then the company delivers whatever you ordered.

What you are basically doing is providing the startup capital for the project, usually one of the more expensive parts of the process, and also verifying that demand for this product exists. A company like Fryette is an established name, but still very much a family run type of business that does not have the resources of a company like Mesa. For them, throwing $60k of their own money into a product that flops could be disastrous. This way they see that true demand exists, they have sales locked in for the first run, and they have customers that get a unique experience.

I pledged for one of the first 50, and it's cool to feel like you're one of the reasons this product was brought to life.

TL/DR: 1 Watt Deliverance with cool recording out features!

Was anyone interested in this?

I saw the thread got some views. They have some more videos up showing off the features, and some better explanations of what it actually does. It's more of a recording tool that functions as a head or preamp as well. As a preamp though you can get Deliverance and Ultra Lead type tones when plugged into a larger poweramp, which makes this a really awesome little device.
