I heard something flapping and fluttering around. After taking the speaker out of the cabinet I could see through the slightly transparent dome that there is a piece of paper curled in the shape of a cylinder floating around inside there and it flaps around freely especially on low notes. Other than that the speaker has a weak response and as I said there is distortion, which may be just that piece of paper or maybe something more.

What do you guys think.

Take a picture of it.

Post it on the Weber board (are you a member there?).

If its a manufacture defect I'm pretty sure they could fix it. If its pass it warranty, it still could be fixed.

Yea I got in touch with them. They want it back, they think a tech either left a voice coil shim in the speaker or it just worked loose and found its way there.
