I bought this guitar about 6 months ago from AMS.
It was advertised as a "scratch and dent" and discounted considerably.
That concerned me a bit, so I called AMS and asked if they knew what deemed the guitar a "scratch and dent". They couldn't tell me, but they did tell me that most people who purchase a scratch and dent guitar from them never even find a scratch or dent. They also told me I could return it if I didn't find it acceptable, so I bought it. It showed up a few days later and they were right ... I couldn't find a scratch or dent anywhere on the guitar ... and still can't.

Anyway, it's been a great guitar.
I kept the original 498 and 500T pickups and just added covers.
I also added old style Gibson witch hat knobs for a more classic look.
Thanks for looking!
