2008 Fender American Strat

Post by talltxguy » Sun Aug 26, 2012 4:30 pm

While perusing a pawn shop, I heard this beauty calling my name. The salesdude and I negotiated a fair price of $750, which included a nice SKB hardshell case.

She plays like a dream. And she gets along nicely with my DC-3. :D

Thanks, dude. I recently replaced the stock pups with the DiMarzio Area set, which sound great. They put out beefier distortion than the stocks, yet they don't lose any of the cleans. And hey, they really are noiseless.

The color and the maple neck remind me of the first guitar I ever owned - an old Yamaha with a bridge humbucker. :)

Nice guitar. I have a Strat that looks just like that, (actually my favorite) however, it's from '75.

Enjoy!

I enjoyed my Schecter, but I am not missing humbuckers whatsoever! Maybe I'm a Strat guy at heart?
