Not the type of guitar that you would expect to see on The Boogie Board, but this guitar is a rocker! It sounds great through my Vibrolux Reverb and sounds like the '50s through my tweed Deluxe clone and it's awesome with my Lovepedal Eternity Burst overdrive pedal. It should sound great through my Express 5:50.

This has been a dream guitar of mine for years.

Very nice ES. Have and ES 335 myself. There are a few ES players here.

How do those vintage P90s sound?

The P-90s are very warm and sweet. They give kind of a compressed wound though a driven amp. I like them a lot through my Lovepedal Eternity Burst. They are not wax potted though feedback has not been an issue yet.

Unlike an ES-335, this guitar is completely hollow. Unlike an ES-125, the top is reinforced around the pickups which lessens feedback. I also have an ES-135 which looks a lot like the ES-225 but is semi-hollow and has humbucking pickups.
