I love my guitar, and she loves me. But I would like to have another guitar with a fixed bridge and a through neck for greater sustain, pitch stability, and drop tuning delicacies. I predominantly play hard rock, heavy metal, psychedelic improvisation, and crystal clean sweet sounds. Price is not an option as I will find a way to afford the right instrument for me. And one more thing, it must be hand crafted in the USA. Anyone have any recommendations?

Here are two places I found. But there is another one that a friend of mine has had recently ordered. I will find out who that company is and post ASAP. For now;

If you want a production guitar with custom specs, I love and only play carvin. If you call in your order you can even have them do really special stuff. Like I just got one with a black limba body. If you want handmade boutique stuff I really cant recommend anything. The only handmades Ive had are BC rich, McInturff (not really handmade) and warrior. They all had things wrong with them. Neal Moser makes some killers guitars as does Bernie Rico Jr. But for me I only play carvin. I havent played any other guitar I like as much.

GMP are very nice. While my friend doesnt agree with me I actually think their quality went up when the original owners sold the company. That is rare. I have a friend who has 10 original guitars from the first owner and nearly all of them have finish issues. One explorer that used to be green faded to black. Very odd. But he kept it in the window of his store. Regardless I much like the newer GMP's.
