Hi folks,

In the process of "Hot-Rodding" my USA Standard Tele. I've got a Duncan SM-1 in the neck and a Fender Nocaster in the bridge. Having phase problems when using both pups.
According to Seymour Duncans site, I can change the phase of my lead pup by cutting the small jumper wire on the baseplate and then reversing the wiring: black to switch, white to ground. Will this work for any Tele lead pickups (ie Fender), or just Duncans? I want to check before trying it out.

This will work on that Fender pickup. You wioll lose the ground to the strings though (unless the guitar already has a separate ground wire to the bridge).

I prefer to de-solder the wire and re-attach it to the other eyelet.
