G'day all...
I've just got my hands on my first mesa... it's an F-30 (would have preferred F50) mainly due to ridiculous pricing over here. I picked up my F30 new for $2330 aussie dollars... about $1850 US equivalent... and i got the best deal i could find... anyways... i love the amp but i need some new pickups to improve my sound a bit...
im playing an epiphone les paul custom at the moment through a small collection of boss pedals into the mesa f30... if that helps... and i play all genres of music except for metal... i play everything from satriani to incubus (old and new) to jazz and blues to contemproray christian... so i need something really versatile and not too expensive... as a guide... gibson burstbuckers here are about $300 AUD EACH while seymour duncan jb-4/2n-jazz would be $300 AUD for the pair which is more my kinda price range give or take $100 AUD
