Well I said I would post some clips using a tube screamer for a boost (digitech tube screamer modeler)

You really don't get the same feel on a recording as being in the room as I'm sure everyone here already knows. You don't get the same feel. Plus my mic preamp sucks. It is either to soft or clipping. It's like there is no in between. I have the Audio buddy from Maudio. I have to get something better

The pictures in the room where shaking on the walls as I recorded these.

There a bit sloppy, but someone here promised just to pay attention to the tone and ignore the playing, so here they are.

I added some reverb in Reaper
Rthym

Lead (added a little delay)

Drop C. This came out pretty bad. My guitar is setup for standard tuning with 10's. I contemplated not even posting this but what the hell

I liked all the clips and thought the amp sounded killer. Great job and thanks for sharing!

**** that amp sounds wicked. Thanks for sharing if I add one more amp it'll be the ed for sure, it has what the mk4 and the 2c+ have. A soul, something I find lacking in the mk5.

Nice clips Primal….thanx for posting….not that the ED needs any effects but that tube screamer is definitely icing on the cake…. You got me gasing for a new pedal now…

All good except for that last clip. Man, it was all muddy, and the playing was all sloppy...

I'm TOTALLY kidding you. Thanks so much for posting these clips. It really helps to get an idea of what the amp will do.

I bet it was fun to shake the walls a little bit!

Thanks for the comments guys.

Fighting with my preamp when recording these I went and picked up a new mic preamp today, a PreSonus Tubepre. I spend all my money on amps so I am unfortunately cheap when it comes to everything else except guitars where I am on the medium side. But for 140$, it sounds good so far and is an improvement over what I had.

I have a bad habbit of always posting disclaimers with my clips. :p

Any chance we can get to hear some cleaner clips of some rhythm playing such as stones? Maybe some pink floyd?
I love this amp, but I want to know if it can really pull off all the tones.

Thanks and great job with the clips by the way!

Great job Primal! I would like to hear the clips with some drums to get a better idea how it would sound in the mix. I am really gasing for this amp but I won't sell my stiletto to fund it.

I'm working on some recordings now. It will probably be a few weeks but I'll post some more clips.
