Hey guys,
I'm looking to sell my Nomad 55 1x12 combo and I'm finding it pretty hard to come by some up-to-date valuation (most is 3-4 years old and wildly varying). I've received a few offers on clist in the range of $450 but I see a similar amp asking for $750 on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mesa-Boogie-Nomad-55-guitar-tube-amp-combo-MINT-/131459568201?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e9b99d249). If anyone has more knowledge on the subject I'd be extremely grateful. Sorry if this is the wrong section for this post, I didn't want to put it under listings just yet.

Here are a few poor lighting photos for reference http://imgur.com/a/k50Bw

Thanks!

I bought my Nomad 45 1x12 2 years ago and paid only $400 from Guitar Center (I got a very good deal). Personally, I would not pay $700 for a 55. I would guess that $600 - $625 would be a good price for both the seller and the buyer.

Hope that helps.

Look at completed listings on ebay, not current listings. This way you'll see what they're selling (or not selling) for.

The amp you linked did not sell for $750. One in a hardwood cab did not sell for $775. Others have for $475- $635.

People won't pay as much on craigslist as they will on ebay.

If people in your area are offering $450, the value is probably pretty close to that number. I bet you could counter and settle on $500 which to me sounds about right.
