MKIV Widebody chassis into MKV headshell??

Hi All,

Merry Christmas!!

Does anyone know if a Rev B MKIV chassis will fit in a standard MKV headshell - I think so but be good to hear the general consensus on this!!

No. A JP-2C shell might work though, the dimensions of the chassis are much closer. But the bolt holes could still be completely off. Get a proper Mark IV shell made.

I just purchased this head shell for my Mark IV widebody combo. I checked the measurements, and they match. Supposed to ship by month's end. As for the Mark V shell, the width is the same for both. However the depth is about 3/4" inch more for the Mark V. It will probably fit, but probably isn't definitely. Here is the link to the headshell on eBay.
