Hi guys,

First post here. I've been a Mark IV-B (wide head) owner for a few months now and I'm building a crazy stereo/MIDI rig around it using a boss ES-8. I have a couple questions regarding the signal path.

1) where does the spring reverb occur in the signal chain? is it before or after the effects loop?

2) when you toggle the FX loop on/off does it kill the loop on both the send and receive ends, or just on the send? I have delays and reverbs in the loop (obvi) and I'd love to be able to turn off the FX loop for a patch but still receive the trails from those pedals. It would need the FX loop return to still be engaged when the FX loop is switched off though.

Thanks!

1. The spring reverb occurs before the loop.

2. The FX loop switch is on both ends of the loop.
